Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved a SERIOUS allergy issue Our 11 year old black lab and healer/shepherd mix have been eating Supreme Source Turkey and Sweet potato grain free for around 20 months now. The Lab, Frank, started developing issues a few years ago. It started with an infection that lead us to remove corn from his diet as suggested by a vet. With in months, however, he developed more problems. After ruling out fungal infections and parasites, we began the search for a grain free food focussing in allergies. He continued to hack and cough up foamy whit mucous and stomach acids and had a dull coat with hit spots. And then came Supreme Source. It was like someone flipped a switch. He is doing so much better. He is now being treated for spondylisis (a degenerative disease that has nothing to did I with diet. His vertebrae are fusing). Anyway, when I took him in for a PT evaluation and they discovered this disease and the root of his pain, the vet kept stopping to comment on his unbelievable blue black shiny coat. He said, "If He never seen a. 11 year old lab with a coat like that....or any lab really. He looks like an oil slick!" Frank has put on a couple pounds. He is not fat, but because of his back problem we need to keep him on the thinner side so the vet said we should bring him down from 92 to 87ish pounds. He said, but try not to change his food. He said he shows every outward appearance of a healthy diet. We are going to cut him from 3 1/2 cups to 3 cups per day since he cannot do his big air dog activities and take long walks like he used to due to this disease. That comment made me happy because our other dog, Roscoe, loves this food and it is the first time he has not been too thin. He hated every other food we tried in his first 5 years so much so that he would eat every third day purely for survival. It was heartbreaking. Now he dances when it's feeding time and howls and talks u til you out down his bowl. It really is a nutritious and delicious food!

26 to 50 lbs. 1 2⁄3 to 2 3⁄4 cups
51 to 100 lbs. 2 3⁄4 to 4 3⁄4 cups
Over 100 lbs. 4 3⁄4 cups + 1⁄3 cup for every 10 lbs. over 100 lbs.

*Use a standard 8 oz. measuring cup

ADULT: For adult dogs feed once or twice daily. May be fed dry or moistened with water. Use table above and adjust to maintain body weight. Always provide fresh clean drinking water for your dog.

PUPPIES: For puppies from weaning to 3 months, feed 4 times a day. From 3 months to 6 months, feed 3 times a day. From 6 months to 1 year, feed 2 times a day. It is best to mix Supreme Source® Dog Food with warm water, milk or broth. Be sure to keep this mixture fresh. A serving that the puppy will consume in 10 minutes is adequate. Slowly dry out the mixture from weaning through 6 months, then the puppy can be fed a dry adult serving.

DOGS UNDER STRESS: Hard working dogs, dogs in winter and pregnant or nursing mothers may require 3 times the normal daily ration. Watch their condition carefully to provide adequately for their needs. Consider free feeding during these times.

MAKING THE SWITCH TO SUPREME SOURCE®:
We created our recipes in order to offer an alternative for those pets with food sensitivities. In order to avoid similar digestion issues while changing your dog’s diet, it is important to allow 7-10 days to transition to Supreme Source®. Each day during the transition, simply reduce the percentage of the current food and increase the percentage of Supreme Source® in your dog’s diet until you are feeding 100% Supreme Source®.
