Back in April, we took off on a cross-country road trip in the Good Stuff Pet Truck. Since then, we’ve visited more than 100 cities, worked with 17 trainers and veterinarians across America, and met a whole bunch of cute pups.
We kicked off the tour on the West coast and gradually made our way to the East. We visited local events, dog parks, and grocery stores in more than 100 cities, including Los Angeles, Portland, Denver, Boston, New York City, Baltimore and Washington D.C.
In the last several months, our Good Stuff Pet Truck team handed out free treats and goodies to a lot of great people and great dogs, many of whom already had a love for our brand and products. Dogs and their owners even took photos with our truck’s “Pup Pics” backdrop; you can check out these fun selfies by looking at #GoodStuffPetTruck on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
Our tour had a large focus on educating pet owners on the benefits of a grain-free diet. Switching to a consistent grain-free diet can help improve dogs’ skin, coat, and digestive system. Dr. Ruth MacPete “The Pet Vet” visited a few of our tour stops and assessed dogs’ body condition score (BCS). A BCS will inform you if your dog is overweight or underweight. Make sure you visit your veterinarian for your own dog’s BCS!
Whether we were hanging out with a Husky in Denver, a Great Dane in Boston or a Pug in San Diego, one thing remained consistent: good stuff, and dogs, bring people together. It was a tail wagging experience and we’re excited to do it again next year.
That’s right – the Good Stuff isn’t over just yet – stay tuned for a 2017 tour schedule and more details to come very soon. Continue to check back on GoodStuffPetTruck.com for updates!
